Royal Clarence Yard, Gosport - for JTP/Berkeley Homes

Royal Clarence yard was established in 1831 as the victualling yard for the Royal Navy, supplying fresh water, beer, salt meat, biscuits and rum. The site includes two Conservation Areas and eighteen Grade II and II* Listed buildings. The facility became redundant in the late 1990’s by which time all of the historic buildings were in a poor state. The development saved all of these buildings and included sensitive new additions and infills providing approximately 680 apartments and houses, a substantial amount of mixed commercial space and a new 130 berth marina.
